I used to have around a dozen Cure cds when I was in the 9th grade, and a few t-shirts too.

I'm so glad that nobody else in my school was into goth and did the whole makeup/hair thing. I would probably respect myself a lot less now if I had friends that encouraged that kind of trendyness back then.

Hmm, maybe growing up in a one horse town in the midwest was good for something after all?

I've still got the concert and curiosity cassette that I play once or twice a year, but I went through a phase after high school where I purged everything that wasn't heavy metal out of my cd collection (to buy drugs).

i like the cure...
so do i. "lullaby" is one of the best songs ever written/recorded.

boy do i have a list...
my chemical romance
christina aguilera
hawthorne heights
emanuel
nightmare of you (although i still love their song "ode to serotonin")
duran duran
green day ("brain stew", "hitchin' a ride", and "longview" are good though i hate them now)
blink-182
the bravery

i'm gonna stop my list here. all these painful memouries of terrible music are hurting my head.
