Double U, double V, double W, Z. That’s how you pronounce their name. And now that that’s out of the way, we can get to the point of this post: today, we’re premiering the video “Broad Sky Blues,” from UUVVWWZ‘s album the trusted language which came out on Saddle Creek last year. This avant garde quintet from Lincoln, Nebraska have been around for quite some time, and they certainly know how to make you pay attention. Teal Gardner’s vocals demand your full attention upon listening, yet they fit seamlessly into the trusted language, which, simply put, is a fresh and innovative album that’s a rewarding listen.
