Tim Kasher, the frontman for Saddle Creek acts Cursive and the Good Life, will release his debut solo album, The Game Of Monogamy, on October 5 through his longtime label. The Omaha native enlisted a host of talented cohorts to help complete the record, including his Cursive bandmates Patrick Newberry and Matt Maginn, Minus The Bear bassist Erin Tate and members of the Glacier National Symphony. The inclusion of classical musicians speaks to Kasher's aim to add lush, theatrical arrangements to fill out his unique interpretation of classic pop.

Kasher will perform material from The Game Of Monogamy at the Tonic Room in Chicago on July 27. The singer/songwriter has plans for more solo dates in the works for fall.
