It happened with Castor, so why shouldn't it happen with The Faint? Well, I'm going to be frank. A fucking full length is not 25 minutes! I don't care how many songs are on it. Length doesn't mean the amount of songs. If it's less than 30 minutes it should be an E.P. This is a great record, which is one of the reasons why I'm so disappointed that it's not a full length. I don't know how someone from Park Ave. ended up in this band. Conor's doing the same type of
music in Bright Eyes, but there's a big switch from Park Ave. to The Faint. This record is filled with sex, tight, black clothes, synthesizers, loose vocals, and great music. Three titles have the word sex in them. The Faint likes sex. Possibly they all faint during sexS but damn, I just don't want to know that. The music fuses 80s with 90s, but everywhere there are also combinations of instruments that make you go "wow, I thought this was all about the rock." And for the most part it is. My advice is to take a chance.
