Saddle Creek's melancholic Georgians Now It's Overhead will release their third album, Dark Light Daybreak, September 12. According to the album's somber press release, it evokes "by one turn a desert-highway soundtrack, by another, a heartrending nostalgia for a moment just past the edge of memory," so it's autumnal release date seems appropriate.

In other news, the band will co-headline Atlanta's massive AthFest alongside the Modern Skirts and Drivin N Cryin on June 24 before they set off for a jaunt across the country with Tilly and the Wall. Finally, according to Saddle Creek, plans are in the works to make a video for the album's first single.
