Ladyfinger has made a rock album. I heard the single "Little Things" and thought it was freaking rad. It wasn't like blowing my mind in its presentation. But it kicked ass, and I stand by that. That song is rad. But as an album whole I feel like the album drags. Or gets old, or just annoying, or boring, or both. I sit and listen and I want to like it but it just doesn't interest me very much. I don't know what it is about it other than that the rest of the songs on the album just aren't as enjoyable. And with an album that pretty much just sounds the same every song in terms of production, I get bored with it. It's not bad. It's just not great. And that's the worst, because I just feel unaffected. Unmoved. Despite all the screeching and shredding guitars. It's rather ho-hum.
