SOUNDS LIKE: Something fans of Ozzy Osbourne and Zack Wild will like.

WHY/ WHY NOT: A ladyfinger isn't just a type of cookie, it's also a kind of firecracker; appropriate given that Ladyfinger's most recent album, Dusk, hits you instantly with a sonic explosion of drums and tight guitar work, as heard in the opening track, "Over and Over". Ladyfinger then continues on with near hypnotic, driving riff rock on tracks "ADD" and "Little Things".

The production on the album is great recorded with Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Minus the Bear, Isis) who worked on their 2006 disc, Heavy Hands. Other notable tracks to check out include, "Work Party", "Plans" and "Let's Get Married", which will have fans of '70s and '80s rock digging the record. So much so that even if you're not a fan of thoses genre I would highly recommend checking out this band Ladyfinger have a lot of offer.
