Cursive, out on the road, will play Radio Radio in Indianapolis on July 27.

Band members Tim Kasher, Ted Stevens, and Matt Maginn are joined on tour with Patrick Newbery who has played horns for the band on a few songs and Cully Symington who will be on drums.

After 14 years together, the band released their sixth full-length album, "Mama I'm Swollen" in March and toured in April and May.

When asked what to expect at the show,Maginn said they tend to play five new songs, five from "Happy Hollow," five from "Ugly Organ," and four or five from "Domestica." This way they can make sure there is a little something for everyone, he added.

And the new album? "This is the first record, honestly, in a long time that I've felt strongly about, 90 to 95% compared to 70% on most albums," he said.

If you have ever been to a cursive show, you've probably noticed they tend to be on the smaller side when it comes to the venues. The reason behind that?

"It's a sonically better sounding show and it's much more intimate," said Maginn.

The show starts at 7 p.m.
