The emotional Nebraskans in Cursive are currently in the studio finishing the follow-up to 2003s The Ugly Organ. Though there is no tracklisting available (the band is still referring to songs by number, not title), Tim Kasher and Co. just announced that the album will be called Happy Hollow and that it will be preceded by the July 11 release of a so-far unnamed single. Saddle Creek will release the full record August 22. After taking some much needed time off, the band started recording in February, though sadly without their cellist Gretta Cohn, who left the band last summer. So far Cursive is scheduled to play Lollapalooza in Chicago August 4, but they are also planning a handful of July dates, as well as a full US tour in September. Plan your painful breakups accordingly.
