This band is Joel Peterson. He is the bass player in the Faint and Beep Beep. This is in effect his third solo record. Sometimes as a bass player, you find your ideas being brought to the back. Witness Bill Wyman and John Entwistle. Those blokes had to do the occasional solo record to satisfy their creative life. Peterson is no different. "Inward" sounds more like movie soundtrack music. "This Is An Introduction" is like a mellow Faint tune. Peterson played everything on this record. He didn't want anyone to fuck it up. "Burn My Body" is a rocking tune. After listening to a bit of this, it reminds me of minimalist German techno. I was really into John Foxx and Gary Numan back in the day. There are no records like that anymore. But this is close in spirit.
