Unlike the first Broken Spindles record, this album has some vocals. It also has string arrangements and piano, both of which are a departure from the electric-only debut. The songs are, for the most part, downbeat and mellow, but there are some dance tracks as well. "To Die, For Death," reminds me of that U2 song off Zooropa that the Edge sang where there were lots of feet in the video. I still prefer the Faint, but this isn't bad at all.
