Every Day and Every Night

11/01/1999 | Spank | Album Review
Lo-fi is maybe the approach this recording takes but it ends up coming off
as a very full-sounding release, which is all part of their charm of Bright
Eyes (whose only real member is Conor Oberst). Oberst's sensitive vocals
trickle in with underlying meaning on these five songs that feature an
assortment of helpful musicians, including members of Lullabye for the
Working Class and allows him to weave together a frayed bedroom pop style
he can call his own.
