Husband and wife duo Chris Senseney and Stefanie Drootin-Senseney are a musician romance success story. Drootin, a member of The Good Life, who toured extensively with acts like Bright Eyes, She & Him and Azure Ray, was wooed one night by Senseney, a charming opening act guitarist. And you know what came next in this musician on musician love -- Big Harp. Drawing on their respective indie-punk and country-folk roots, Big Harp made beautiful music together. They released their debut album, "White hat," on Saddle Creek with the help of Rilo Kiley bassist Pierre de Reeder at LA's Nightingale Studios. "Everybody Pays" was directed by Danny Drysdale, capturing the natural chemistry of the duo. "The video was made in much the same way as our record -- quick and dirty," Drootin-Senseney said. "Danny scouted while he drove down from Utah, we talked for a few hours, and then we drove up to Yermo / Calico and knocked it out in a day. The landscape was beautiful -- sweeping desert and dilapidated buildings butted up against roadside diners and aging tourist traps."
