Digital Ash in a Digital Urn

You won't hear Bright Eyes on 1,200 Clear Channel stations, or see them if you live in a city with venues dominated by Clear Channel. Why? Frontman Conor Oberst publicly denounced the media giga-corp in October, saying, "There will be no real music anymore if we keep letting people shove it down our fucking throats."
Well put.
So how is that Bright Eyes' two new albums, I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning, and Digital Ash in a Digital Urn, debuted on the Billboard charts at #10 and #15 respectively? Because the music is honest and powerful. Oberst's anti-Clear Channel stance is recent. So is the battle Saddle Creek Records is having to wage to keep Bright Eyes in the ears of the masses now that Clear Channel is acting like a spoiled brat.
The truth hurts.
